Training Tuesday…or Wednesday

It’s time to strap on the old running shoes and get moving!

Apparently last year taught me nothing.  I signed up for another 5K.  I’m a bit behind on my training.  I may have skipped a day or two or the entire winter.  And most of spring.  People, when you finish a training program, do not stop running.  You will regret it.

Anyhoo…it’s time to get moving again.  My plan was to start training again on Monday.  I didn’t sleep well that night and there was NO WAY I was going to be able to complete any part of the training program so it just didn’t happen.  So far this week, I’ve downloaded some new songs and discussed my training options with my “running team”.  That’s a start, right?

I had to laugh when my DFF and I were on our team’s fb page discussing our various training programs and another team member pipes in and says, “You ladies are already ahead of me by even having this discussion…”  And that pretty much describes our team.  LOL!  

I’ll be checking in on Tuesdays and WILL have something to report next week.  Hopefully it’ll involve running shoes and actually leaving the house.  :)
